Originally intended to go hand in hand with our first Japanese-made Noragi "Aurora" jacket, our project for a lighter Noragi manufactured entirely in France should have come to fruition two years ago. It has now become a reality. However, many production challenges had a very tangible effect on the final result. The jackets, no matter which size you choose, are too short for men who are over 1.80m tall.
Nevertheless, there was absolutely no intention of giving up on the entire production and betraying our core values. We therefore reworked the garment starting from its boxy shape by shortening the sleeves so that it could be worn by the majority of people, including girls. Worn loose, the cut of this unisex jacket with its dropped shoulder is perfect for an autumn look that favors volume and layering.
Made from a beautifully washed French cotton/linen denim specially designed for us by Manufacture Métis in Montbéliard, our new two-thirds sleeved Noragi jacket will be available on the website this Sunday, September 24, in limited quantities.
